A clinical and statistical analysis were made from 342 cases of premature infants, admitted to the department of pediatrics, National Medical Center, during the period of October, 1959 to August, 1968. The general mortality rate of our series was 24. 3%. There were no significant differences in incidence and mortality between both sexes. And premature deliveries were fairly evenly distributed... |
